SSS quizzes Dokubo-Asari over threat of bloodshed in 2015

The president of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, is currently being interrogated at the headquarters of the State Security Service in Abuja. Dokubo was invited by the SSS, following his alleged inflammatory statements in connection to the 2015 election, in which he stressed in unequivocal terms that there will be bloodshed, if President Goodluck Jonathan was not re-elected. Dokubo, an ex-militant, arrived the SSS office at about 9.45am on Thursday, with scores of his supporters, and his lawyer. The SSS Deputy Director, Public Relations, Marilyn Ogar, confirmed that it was questioning Dokubo based on the inflammatory comments. "If they say the blood of the dogs and the baboon will be soaked in water on the street, in blood on the street, in salt water on the street, we will help them soak them in blood”. Security operatives believe such a comment is capable of causing chaos in Nigeria
