What Re-Arrested Fake Female Soldier Has To Say

A fake female soldier, Angela Omeih, was on Tuesday, August 19, re-arrested at Igbara-Oke military check-point in Ifedore local government area of Ondo State in the same army uniform.

The fake soldier, after being arrested this time, gave her name as Miss Jamila Suleiman of Mile 3, Dioba, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The State Police Commissioner, Isaac Eke, who paraded the suspect after briefing reporters in his office, said the fake soldier had earlier in the year been arrested by military men and handed over to the police.
She was then charged to court, but granted bail and re-arrested again at Igbara-Oke military check-point while impersonating herself as a soldier.
The suspect said she committed the offence in order to survive and earn for living after the death of her father.

She confessed that she bought the uniform from a shop in Delta State and pleaded for leniency, promising not to involve in such act again.
The suspect was said to have been parading herself as a soldier attached to the 149 Battalion, but deployed to Joint Task Force, Warri, for duty.
She was, however, arrested after her boyfriend exposed her to the Nigerian Army following a breakup in their relationship.
