Prophet Felix Oluyemi was born on March 13, 1960 at Bomodeoku camp in Ondo State, South West, Nigeria to the family of late Pa. and Madam Gabriel Oluyemi.


Pa Oluyemi was a great cocoa farmer while Madam Oluyemi was a merchant. They were both Catholics and brought their children as Catholics.

Ten kidnapped victims, including a nine year-old boy, were rescued from a criminal gang which specialized in robbing, raping and kidnapping innocent residents in an early morning raid at the mountainous forest of Darka and Huni-Gade villages in Kuje Area Council of the FCT on Monday, November 21.

The rescue operation was conducted by a combined team of 250 personnel of the Police Mobile Force, the Command Special Anti-Kidnapping Squad, Department of State Security (DSS), Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). The operations  involved a coordinated rescue mission by ground forces and Air Force in the mountainous range of Kuje that served as hideout for the criminals.

N2.175 billion fraud discovered in Ministry of Defence

– Presidential committee investigating arms purchase has uncovered a whopping N2.175 billion fraud in one of the agencies of the Ministry of Defence – The diverted money was part of the N35 billion the ministry took as loan from the Debt Management Office (DMO) to purchase equipment for troops on international peace-keeping mission  – The committee said the money meant for the project was paid in installments to some corporate bodies and Bureaux De Change

The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has directed the new chairpersons of the Transition Implementation committees (TICs) to focus on the payment of salary arrears and increasing their Internally Generated Revenue, rather than making new appointments.
