Senator Andy Uba, representing Anambra South Senatorial District has made a confession.
The lawmaker who is also the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Anambra South Constituency confessed that he is not in anyway vying for the position of the Senate President.
Contrary to the reports spreading like wild harmattan fire that he intends to vie for the Senate Presidency if re-elected, Uba said;
“I am more interested in concentrating on achieving victory both for myself and the party in this very keenly contested election.”
“The report is malicious and only intended to distract me from my impactful campaigns. Members of the public, especially those in Anambra State and in my constituency should disregard the news report, it is misleading.”
