CHIEF HENRY AJOMALE, BARRISTER ADEMORIN KUYE, OTHERS COMMISSION PROJECTS IN AMUWO ODOFIN LOCAL GOVERNMENT

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State, Chief Henry Oladele Ajomale, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barrister Ademorin Kuye, Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Olayinka Oladunjoye, stakeholders and others today lauded the developmental projects put in place at the Local Government.

They made this statement during the commissioning of block B, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Primary Health Care Center, Abule Ado, a block of classroom at UPE Primary School, 3^rd avenue, Festac Town, Issuance of certificates to 200 NIIT Youth Graduates, distribution of poverty alleviation items and distribution of 7,000 school bags.

The representative of the APC Chairman, Barrister Ademola Sadiq, who is the Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Lagos State and Barrister Ademorin Kuye noted that Comrade Adewale has raised the bar at the grassroots level. “Comrade Adewale is a replica of the developmental strides at the state level”. They further stressed that “this is unbelievable; empowering 200 youths on information technology is dividends of democracy at its peak”.

Meanwhile, the Local Government boss while delivering his speech averred that “ what we are doing here today, is not only a vivid reflection of the commitment of this administration, but also a confirmation that this government recognizes the expectations of the good people of the Local government and is ready to address them”.

Comrade Adewale also used the medium to highlight some of his achievements, including distribution of over 420,000 notebooks, 400 life jackets, 2,750 JAMB forms, 2,500 GCE forms, rehabilitated and resurfaced over 22 roads, planted over 5,000 trees of various species, and delivered over 3,000 babies with zero mortality, amongst others.

He also used the occasion to commend the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State for issuing a statement enforcing the proscription of the Community Policing Youth Vanguard, set up by the Area E Police Commander, ACP Dan Okoro and appealed to him to prosecute them as well as  bring them to justice.
