Synagogue Collapse: T.B. Joshua Attacks Nigerians

As investigations into the September 12 collapse of a guest house belonging to the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, Ikotun Egbe, Lagos, continues, the founder of the church, Prophet T.B. Joshua, has said Nigerians are killing the country through bad press and negative comments.

After the collapse of the Synagogue guest house, T.B. Joshua came under serious criticisms from individuals and groups. He however attributed the collapse to a terror attack and released a video to back his claims.
Speaking in a two-minute video clip posted on Youtube, the prophet, who disclosed that he had just came back from Columbia, said he had to rush back because there is a cloud which according to him means trouble, covering Nigeria and he wants to witness how it dispels.
According to him, one will never see positive things on national TV or the pages of national or international newspapers but once there is bad news like bomb blast, it will be all over the media.
He said: “Look at what is happening here (in SCOAN), you will not see it on a national TV but if you learn that they bombed here, one of you will call CNN that they have bombed Synagogue. You will never see every good thing that happens here (in SCOAN) on these media channels.
“But if anything bad happens in front of the church, one of you Nigerians, will be the one to make a call. You are destroying your country, selling your country for nothing. It is a very painful thing. You are the ones destroying your country, you, Nigerians.”
He explained that Nigerians are painting the country in bad colours and it is not good, while adding that truth will always prevail as he has never seen where lies overcome truth.

SCOAN remains controversial both in Nigeria and abroad, claiming regular occurrences of divine miracles. Several hundred Nigerians and international visitors come to the SCOAN each week to register for the prayer lines where the visitors are prayed over by T.B. Joshua. Many have also claimed to be healed through his ‘Anointing Water’.
